Coastal Custodians

  • Varighed: 4 Timer (Ca.)
  • Sted: City of Victor Harbor, SA
  • Produkt kode: COCUST

This program is supported by Landscape Hills and Fleurieu’s Grassroots Grants Program, and is funded by the landscape levy.

The program aims to educate young people (8-18yo) by giving them experiences of immersion and investigation, highlighting the importance of marine biodiversity and the local iconic species that are vulnerable, under threat, and recovering. The program is based on the Fleurieu Peninsula, centred on Victor Harbor.

We will take young explorers on six different experiences along the Fleurieu Peninsula coastline during the school holidays in summer and autumn.

We have completed the summer component of the Coastal Custodians adventure, but if you would like to book in for the remaining two workshops you will experience:

1. Whale spotter training

2. An art workshop where any rubbish collected from the beach/sea during the previous activities will be used to create a piece of art

There is a $40 commitment fee for the day.
