- Location: City of Victor Harbor, SA
- Product code: COAD
This program is grant-funded by the City of Victor Harbor to engage youth (age 12-25) who live, work, or play in the council area. We will take young people on five different experiences along the coast in the City of Victor Harbor, with the aim of giving youth an opportunity to experience their own back yard in ways they might not have before.
There is a $25 commitment fee to participate in the activities.
The five activities include:
1. A Dolphin Watching Big Duck Experience
2. Granite Island Walking Tour with Fleurieu Marine Education
3. Snorkelling with Beyond the Boardroom
4. Beachcombing with Fleurieu Marine Education
5. Bushwalking sections of the coast with Enliven Adventures
The adventure begins on day one with a boat ride on The Big Duck departing at 9am Monday morning, followed by morning tea. Participants will then go for a walk around Granite Island and be back on the mainland in time for lunch (1pm).
Day two sees participants going beachcombing and snorkelling in Encounter Bay with Beyond the Classroom and Fleurieu Marine Education. This day will also finish around lunch time.
Day three wraps up the Coastal Adventures with a bushwalk along the Heysen trail with Enliven Adventures at Waitpinga.
